May Postcards

May's colors are salmon and turquoise. At first that made me think of fish in a pond, but then I ran across this photo of an old door that was so perfect I just had to use it. I turned it into a window, and created a magical scene when the window is opened.





Also, I just noticed that my last post was my 100th post on this blog! I've really enjoyed keeping a record of my art and decorating and family adventures here. Even though I don't get a lot of comments, I know several people enjoy reading my posts and seeing my photos, which feels great. But it's just satisfying to the type-A, hyper-organized part of me to have all this information collected in one place.

I have to admit, when I first heard about this new thing called a "blog," I didn't get it at all. I guess I'm what you'd call a "convert"!!
